Now that I no longer book weddings, I find myself missing out on one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer – the engagement session. So when Rachelle contacted me, I was very excited for the opportunity.  We headed out to Days River Trail, which I usually explore in the fall, but seemed perfectly suited to their woodsy natures.  It was also the perfect place for their pups to tag along for the photos!

I made these guys walk a little more than I probably should have (or at least warned Rachelle to bring a back-up pair of shoes), and at one point one of their dogs broke a leash in their excitement to get back to mom and dad, but they took everything in stride and rocked their session.
