After a long winter typical for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, it felt great to get outside for my first family portrait session of the year.  The day started out sunny, but as evening rolled so did the clouds.  We didn’t let that stop us though – I always embrace cloudy days, and while they may not have that pop of golden sun, they definitely have their own amazing character to add to a session.

Ann and her family were great to work with – her little girls are so cute!  Her older daughter is such an attentive big sister – and while her younger daughter may not always seem to reciprocate the feeling, I know they have lifelong friends in each other.
