Hadley | Escanaba Michigan Newborn Session
I was over-the-moon excited to find out this sweet family was expecting again, and was so happy to have the chance to photograph their new little girl. I’ve worked with this family a few times, and they come from an hour away for their sessions, which means so much to me.
Newborn sessions typically run about 3 hours long, and while siblings are always welcome to stay, I know it gets to be a long time for them, and often dad or a grandparent will take the sibling home after their part is done. Having traveled for the session though, big sister had to stay for the whole session, and she did wonderfully.
Mom had sent me pictures of everyone’s outfits and told me to use whatever colors I wanted for the session. While I tend to lean toward neutrals, I’ve picked up that mom leans toward more colorful options, so I pulled out some jewel tones. Of course, Hadley had her own ideas about a certain purple shade that mom and I both loved – every time I laid her on it, she would wake up! I swear she was glaring at me too. So maybe she didn’t love the color as much as we did!
