Paxton | Escanaba Michigan Newborn Portrait Session
This little peanut was under 7 lbs, and *so* perfect for his session! It’s amazing what a difference a pound or two makes on these little guys. We were supposed to have his session the week prior, but with temps of -40F here in Escanaba, we opted to push the session back so Paxton wouldn’t have to be exposed to the cold (I’ll admit I was very happy not to leave my house that day too!) We made it through so many poses that I ended up with a huge gallery for Paxton’s parents. I think I edited it in record time too – he didn’t have a single blemish on him. If only all babies were so easy! (They’re all worth it though!)
Paxton’s dad is a fisherman and had picked out a little fishing outfit and hat. I was very excited to hear this, as I’d begged my dad to make a little boat last year and hadn’t had the chance to use it yet. Paxton snuggled into it perfectly, and made just the cutest little fisherman.
