I met the Swan family last year when I captured their little newborn Adeline.  I was so happy to hear from them again this fall when they requested a family session.  I’m always just amazed at how much little ones change in just the course of one year – but how you can still see some of the same little features they had when they were newborns.

Addie wasn’t at her happiest during our session, but she did love exploring the woods, and having her puppy along helped too.  We even got some smiles from said puppy!  I think this has been one of the gloomiest falls we’ve had in a long while, so this session was a reschedule – I’m so thankful to my families for being so flexible when it comes to outdoor sessions.  Here in the upper peninsula, that’s pretty much a necessity!
