But they realized how fast their little guy was growing, and wanted to make sure they had some family photos while he was still little! They brought along his rocking chair that has been in dad's family for a number of years, and his little stuffed wolf pup too! I can’t think of a better post for Mother’s Da I can’t think of a better post for Mother’s Day weekend than this 😍 Mom chose two gowns from my client closet, and said if she could describe what she wanted in any way, it would be “warm and intimate.” I love that we were able to give her that, in a variety of ways! Most of our maternity sessions involve me moving furniture from one corner of the studio to another, and moving lights around - because it’s *all* about the light ✨ and showing *you* in your best light. What do you think? These might be my new favorite thing ever 😍 When I had dad sit behind mom his hands immediately went to surround her, and I loved that. Often we will have all attention and hands pointed toward baby, but there’s something really poignant and beautiful about this. It reminds us that, while there is a whole new life to attend to, you are still partners. We took parent, family, and sibling poses over the We took parent, family, and sibling poses over the weekend, and then mom brought Rowen in for her main character photos the next day. That way dad didn’t have to miss photos because of his work schedule, brother didn’t have to sit through the *whole* session, and mom got to sit and relax for a few hours while I photographed Rowen. Schedules can be crazy but we will always, always find a way to make it work. Separate times for family poses are just one way we can work together so your session works best for you!
