OK, you guys were so helpful before, that I have a OK, you guys were so helpful before, that I have another one for you! Which do you prefer? One is my normal edit, and the other is a preset (with some of my own touches, of course). While you think on that, I'm *finally* going to go shower and get ready for the day (it's 3:30pm, if that makes you feel better about how your day is going). It's been a strange, hard week around here, and I've been hyper focusing today to take my mind off things. Time to get moving and feel human for a bit. Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
I most definitely have to edit a bunch more previe I most definitely have to edit a bunch more previews from this session, because it was absolutely stunning and I kept yelling "You could be on the cover of a novel!!" It's such a joy to see families grow, and to find happiness. I get glimpses of my families with years between, and seeing kids grow up is as bittersweet as it gets. We talked about how proud you are to watch your children grow up, and how hard it is to send them out into the world. This photo is a celebration - love found, milestones achieved, new places explored. It is looking toward the past with fondness and perspective, because all roads have led here. It is looking toward the future with hope and trust. It is a moment in time, made significant with intention. When I think about what sessions I most want to ph When I think about what sessions I most want to photograph, the top of the list is *always* more newborns! Babies change so fast, and by the time they’re a month old parents are often saying “I can’t believe they were ever that small!” I love seeing new parents obsess over every detail of their babies, and preserving those details for them forever. I know that trends are changing in the photography world and I have a lot of things I want to revamp - if you’re expecting but want something a little different than what you see every day, please reach out and start a conversation! I would have taken this outside, but it’s hard t I would have taken this outside, but it’s hard to drink coffee through a mosquito net! That is actually Lake Superior out there, but it’s this morning it’s hard to separate from the sky, all just one expanse. The weather is supposed to be beautiful today and I’m grateful to be at my happy place, even if it’s just to do the same things I would do at home.
