I’m a pretty introverted person – I need quiet time to recharge, and I’m shy around people, especially when I first meet them.  But when I get behind the camera, I become more outgoing, more “myself.”  I love how this job allows me to meet people I would never otherwise meet, and how I can be a little more myself around them.

This family was visiting all the way from Texas – dad grew up here in Escanaba, but mom is from Texas her whole life.  She said they’re not used to “oceans of lakes” back where she’s from, so what better place for their family pictures than by the water?  There’s a beautiful park in Escanaba that looks beautiful at any time of year.  The water is a little high this year so there’s not much beach to speak of, but between the seagrass and the water, you still have a beautiful setting.
