I'm so sad I don't have any outdoor sessions sched I'm so sad I don't have any outdoor sessions scheduled in time for blossoms this year! There's a lot of talk in the photography world about how things just feel *different* this year. This is always a slower time of year for me, but things are just . . . different. There's debate about whether it's the economy, or changing trends, but the reality is - bookings are down, and many studios are shutting their doors. Anyway, I tried to exercise today, got super emotional and wrote a blog post instead! Over the last 2 years I've had more and more inquiries for extended families, and less for regular family sessions. I get it, and I definitely value extended family sessions. But they're a very different vibe from regular sessions, and I want to be sure that you know you are valuable on your own, too. Comment "art" and I'll send you the link to the blog post! She was so welcoming, and you can tell she is passionate about what she does and so supportive for her clients - it’s easy to see why she has such a huge following! Photos are so much more than standing in one place Photos are so much more than standing in one place and smiling at the camera! They are a way to mark different personalities. They are a way to help you see how much love there is between people. And when done right, they give you something you can look back at and say "I remember that, it was so fun!" Whether indoors or outdoors, I'm always looking for ways to make your session fun, easy, and memorable (in a good way!)
