Coral’s mom told me that she loved neutrals and blush for her session. She also mentioned an olive green, like the color she wore during her maternity session.  All of these colors were right up my alley and I had lots of fun setting up her session.  I always enjoy getting to know parents during the session, and, as we’d already done a maternity session, it was nice and relaxing to chat with Hailey.

I do have to say too that Hailey was extremely kind and accommodating during this session – I’d just come from a difficult, unexpected situation and had to say good-bye to my cat of 15 years.  Coral was a much-needed distraction, and Hailey was incredibly kind and understanding.  Losing a pet is never easy, but snuggling on a baby for a few hours helped ease the pain.  Coral must have known I needed a good baby that day, too, because I don’t think she fussed once during the entire session!
