I love getting to meet so many different families as an Escanaba Michigan photographer, especially ones as down to earth and friendly as this one.  This family had moved to Escanaba recently to relocate for Dad’s job, and their extended family lives back in Traverse City.  Oftentimes dad or a grandparent will bring older siblings just for their portion of a newborn session, because 3 hours gets to be a long time for little ones.  Siblings are always welcome though, and this big brother was so good I hardly knew he was there.  Dad and him walked over to the new Mexican restaurant across the street (which is fantastic by the way!) and brought back lunch, and I love when clients are able to make themselves at home in the studio like that.  That was one worry I had when I moved into the studio space – my home studio was cozy, and really reflected my wish for everyone to feel welcome and comfortable during their session.  I try to make the studio as cozy as possible – I want to give a great experience, but I also want clients to feel comfortable and at ease.  I’ve definitely been getting that vibe from clients, which makes me so happy.
