Will’s parents’ wedding was one of the very last weddings I photographed, just last year.  Photographing former wedding clients’ growing families has been one of my very favorite parts of photography – seeing a couple’s journey along it’s most special milestones.  It was one of the things that made me saddest to give up weddings.  So when Will’s mom contacted me to say they were expecting, and to ask if I could photograph their baby, I was *so* happy.  Will’s parents are incredibly fun to work with – his mom has an infectious laugh, and they are both exceptionally kind.  Their engagement session at the Stonington Lighthouse was one of my favorite engagement sessions ever.  I knew working with them for their newborn session would be just as rewarding, and their little guy did not disappoint.  Will was such a good baby!  His mom had brought along a few special props too, including some commemorating their “little pineapple,” a play on their last name.

I’d had a run of moms who preferred cool neutrals, so I pulled out *all* the warm neutrals for this session.  A few pops of deep green and teal rounded out the styling, which worked well with Will’s pineapple accessories.
