I photographed Sarah and Bill’s wedding a few years back, and I can never get enough of seeing my wedding families grow through the years.  Sarah and Bill are such kind people, and I was thrilled that they would be welcoming a new baby girl into the world – and that they chose me to capture her first photos.  Bill brought big brother Noah in for just his portion of the session – it actually worked out well because the kids had yet *another* snow day that day, so we didn’t have to worry about waiting until school got out.  He was so polite!  Definitely made my job easy on me.

Sarah brought in several different props and blankets from home that were special to her – I always have lots on hand and typically design the setups ahead of time, but families are always welcome to bring in items that are special to them and I always do my best to incorporate them.  The blue and white crocheted blanket you’ll see was Sarah’s when she was a baby, crocheted by her grandmother.  It was in beautiful condition still and I know it meant a lot to them to have it used for Zoey’s pictures.
