Jessy’s mom contacted me right after welcoming Jessy into the world, and we were lucky enough to be able to fit him in just past his two week mark.  Jessy’s mom and grandma came all the way from Iron Mountain for his session, and I’m so glad they did!  Jessy was such a treat to work with.

Jessy’s mom was definitely wanting a picture with her new little baby, and had thought about getting her hair done for the session but wasn’t familiar with salons in the area.  It just so happens that I share a building with the amazing Salon West, so grandma walked right over and set up an appointment.  Jessy’s mom was able to get pampered while I photographed Jessy and grandma kept me company.  Jessy’s mom came back in time for her pictures, feeling fresh and looking extra gorgeous.  That little bit of pampering can mean so much, especially at a time when moms are maybe feeling less-than-their-best, so I love having this option so easily available to my clients.

Jessy’s mom and grandma didn’t have a lot of preferences for color choices, and after they arrived realized I had pulled a *lot* of green for their session.  Thankfully it turns out that is one of their favorite colors, so that worked out perfectly!
